a little about me

creative director, freak for the creek, process nerd

It's a fun combo, you just gotta trust me.

hey there

I'm Hannah,

a creative director and creative operations leader based in Frederick, MD. For the last six-plus years I've been building design teams, creative systems, and the kind of operational infrastructure that lets creative work actually scale, all inside one fast-growing performance marketing agency (that somehow turned into several). I like problems with a lot of moving parts, which is probably how I ended up running creative operations across six agencies at once and still finding time to touch the actual creative work.

I care about two things pretty equally: creative that performs, and process that doesn't get in the way of people doing their best work. Most of my career has lived right at the intersection of those two — figuring out how to keep quality high while a team, a client roster, or an entire agency network gets bigger and more complicated.

Outside of work, I'm most at home outside. I've backpacked through Washington, Maryland, West Virginia, and the Dolomites in Italy — including a multi-day hut-to-hut trek with more via ferrata than I probably should admit to enjoying. I've done multi-day canoe trips through Maine, and I'll take any excuse to go fly fishing, results not guaranteed.

When I'm not on a trail or in a canoe, I'm probably grilling for more people than strictly necessary, recently picking my old Nikon N80 film camera back up after years in a drawer, or standing by my brief 2020 stint running a flower-pressing art business.

If any of this (the creative, the chaos, the trail maps, the questionable fishing luck) sounds like what you're building, let's talk.
