overview
new tool, new territory
When our agency network rolled out a new proprietary AI creative platform, the hard part was never getting people access to it — it was getting six agencies with six different comfort levels around AI to actually use it, well, and often. I was asked to lead that shift.
challenge
different agencies, different starting lines
Some agencies were already experimenting with AI tools on their own; others were skeptical the technology could hold up to their creative standards. A single generic training wasn't going to move either group. And with everyone spread across different accounts and workloads, "we'll get to it later" was the default response I needed to design around.
solution
training that actually stuck
I designed and led a multi-week training series, running live sessions that reached roughly 28 creative leads across all six agencies — not a one-and-done webinar, but a structured series people could actually apply between sessions. Afterward, I hosted a dedicated feedback session with agency creative leaders to surface real roadblocks (some technical, some just "I don't trust this yet"), and fed that feedback straight back to the platform's own product team. That direct line turned into an ongoing one — I went on to represent our network in broader product discovery conversations, helping shape upcoming features based on how agencies were actually using the tool.
impact
adoption, not just access
The platform's own product team confirmed a measurable increase in usage following the training series. More importantly, adoption stopped being something I had to chase — creative leads started bringing their own use cases to me instead of the other way around. What began as a training assignment turned into an ongoing product feedback role, with our network's fingerprints on the tool's roadmap.
